Volunteers bring hope to the world

Why volunteer at Mount Joy Gift and Thrift?

  • Participate in the recycling of clothing and household items to save the environment
  • Provide low cost items for the community
  • Generate income to help alleviate the suffering of people around the world

Volunteers are an essential part of our organization. You can be a part of our mission by spending your time here.  Volunteers often come on a regular basis for four hours at a time. Time commitment is flexible with most volunteers working several times a week to once monthly. Your skills are needed to fill one of a variety of roles. We are open to volunteers of all ages and skills and will work hard to accommodate your skills and schedule. Both men and women volunteers are needed. Orientation is provided.

We can always use individuals for:
